Beringen, 15 April 2025 – Out of Use, a specialist in the circular processing of IT equipment and electronics, is expanding its infrastructure to support the strong growth of recent years. The company is opening an additional warehouse next to its main site in Beringen, responding to the growing demand for sustainable IT refurbishment and secure recycling services.
The new building adds more than 2,000 m² of extra space, significantly increasing storage and processing capacity. Out of Use processes over 100,000 devices per year, coming from companies, public authorities and organisations in Belgium and neighbouring countries.
The company currently employs nearly 50 people, most of whom work in operational departments.
“Acquiring the building next to our main site is a logical next step,” says Yannick Adriaenssens, CEO of Out of Use. “This expansion allows us to physically separate our recycling and reuse activities for the first time. The existing building will focus on refurbishment, while the new warehouse will be used for recycling and handling incoming equipment. This separation brings more structure, reduces pressure on the work floor and increases our efficiency. It also creates room to strengthen our operations and prepare for further, international growth.”
This expansion not only enhances the company’s daily operations but also supports its sustainable mission: keeping electronics in use for longer and maximising the value of end-of-life IT.
With this new warehouse – and previous investments – Out of Use expects to hire additional staff in the coming years. Motivated candidates are encouraged to apply for the open vacancies.
