JOB VACANCY: IT Reuse Trader

Then our vacancy for an IT reuse trader might be just the thing for you!

In this role, you’ll be responsible for buying and selling IT equipment and electronics in a dynamic, international market. As an IT Reuse Trader, you’ll be part of the sales team and will have the opportunity to expand our international online sales.

• Actively buying and selling IT equipment (laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment, etc.) on global markets.
• Maintaining and expanding a network of suppliers and customers.
• Assessing IT hardware in terms of quality, price and market value.
• Working independently, using margin analysis to make optimal purchasing and sales decisions.
• Applying knowledge of market prices to trade competitively and profitably.
• Making efficient use of various communication channels, such as online marketplaces, social media, broker platforms, email and professional networks, to source and sell goods.
• Conduct market research and analyse trends in the IT hardware market.
• Draft and negotiate quotations and contracts with suppliers and customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as refurbishment, logistics and marketing, to achieve optimal results.

• You have a ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Experience in procurement and/or sales, preferably in the IT or electronics sector.
• Good knowledge of IT hardware, electronics and market prices.
• Strong negotiation skills and a commercial mindset.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess margins and profit opportunities.
• Experience in utilising various communication channels, including broker platforms, to create business opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (other languages are an advantage).
• Ability to work independently and take the initiative in decision-making.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel when necessary.
• Interest in sustainability and the circular economy.
