JOB VACANCY: Customer Success Specialist

Out of Use is a growing environmental company specialising in the reuse and recycling of materials. Every day, we work together with pride towards a more sustainable future. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a driven Customer Success Specialist with some relevant experience, who will actively contribute to an optimal customer experience and lasting customer satisfaction, and who shares our values and ambition to further grow Out of Use both nationally and internationally.

Your role

As a Customer Success Specialist, you are the first point of contact for our customers and play a central, coordinating role between customers and internal teams. In this varied role, you ensure high-quality and consistent customer service, with a positive customer experience always at the heart of what you do.

You take the pressure off customers by handling their queries and needs in a professional and solution-focused manner and by actively supporting them. In addition, you take a proactive role by reaching out to customers, contributing ideas for improvements and initiating service calls. In this way, you elevate the customer experience to a higher level and position Out of Use as a reliable and committed partner.

You will be part of the Customer Success Specialist team, which also includes logistics planning. Together, you will work towards an optimal customer experience, with scope for consultation, initiative and collaboration.

You can look forward to a varied range of tasks in a dynamic working environment, where no two days are the same and where you make a difference every day.

Your responsibilities will include, amongst other things:

  • You are in daily contact with our customers and prospects via email and telephone – you are the point of contact, answering their questions and addressing their needs, and providing them with information in a friendly, professional and courteous manner
  • Taking care of customers’ needs and ensuring their satisfaction are central to everything you do: you think proactively and in a solution-oriented way, and translate customers’ needs into clear, customer-focused communication
  • You manage our central mailbox and incoming calls, ensuring a swift, smooth and structured follow-up
  • You handle customer concerns and potential complaints professionally and know how to turn these into opportunities to further strengthen the customer relationship. In doing so, you’ll take on a coordinating role and liaise effectively with other departments
  • You’ll work closely with your colleagues in sales, logistics, operations and finance to ensure efficient operations and guarantee a ‘best-in-class’ service for our customers
  • You proactively approach customers based on their customer segment to offer them an enhanced level of service and added value
  • You keep up to date with new trends, product updates, prices and technical know-how to provide our customers with targeted advice and assistance
  • You will draw up quotations in close consultation with the sales department, actively follow them up and discuss them with customers and prospects, with a focus on quality, clarity and customer satisfaction
  • You will actively contribute ideas and work on initiatives that further enhance and optimise the customer experience
  • On a daily basis, you will use our internal systems and software accurately and continue to develop your expertise thanks to the practical knowledge and experience of your colleagues
  • You represent our vision and mission and actively contribute to the growth of Out of Use and our circular business model

The ideal colleague we are looking for should be able to tick off the following:

  • Initial relevant experience in customer service
  • You have experience of, or a strong affinity with, the IT hardware and/or mobility sector (or related fields)
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, and the ability to convey basic technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English, both spoken and written
  • You thrive on customer contact and collaborating with colleagues to achieve the best possible results together. Customer focus is in your DNA
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the determination to provide our customers with the best possible support
  • You have a genuine ‘can-do’ attitude and are solution- and results-oriented
  • You work in a structured and meticulous manner, with an eye for efficiency and quality
  • You have a hands-on and practical approach and know how to set priorities in a dynamic working environment. You take the initiative and like to think ahead
  • Experience with CRM systems and other relevant tools to support customer interaction based on accurate data. You quickly get to grips with new systems, are adept at using software packages and have a good knowledge of Excel
  • Self-motivated with an eye for detail, able to work independently and prioritise tasks.
  • Passionate about and keenly interested in sustainable and circular solutions, and actively promotes these
  • You are enthusiastic about helping to build a more sustainable world and contributing to the further growth of Out of Use

What can we offer you?

  • You’ll be working in a young, dynamic and driven team
  • You’ll make a difference: your work contributes directly to a circular and sustainable economy
  • Plenty of variety and responsibility from day one
  • Opportunities to learn, contribute ideas and develop personally within a rapidly growing, sustainable company
  • A company with strong growth ambitions, a clear mission and a vision for the future
  • A competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • The opportunity to grow and develop personally within a rapidly expanding yet sustainable company
  • The opportunity to purchase personal IT equipment at an attractive discount
  • Hospitalisation and group insurance
  • Meal vouchers
  • Eco-vouchers
  • CAO 90 bonus
  • 20 days’ annual leave + 12 ADV days
