Since 2023, Out of Use has been the exclusive partner of ING Belgium in finding the most sustainable solution for all their unused IT devices.

Additionally, more than 500 ING employees purchased a refurbished ING device for private use through Back in Use. Thanks to this collaboration and initiative, ING positions itself as an absolute pioneer in the circular economy.

How did we do this?

Our approach:

1. Sharing vision

After exchanging our visions, we developed specific agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal unburdening and value optimization of ING's unused IT material.

2. Structural collaboration

Out of Use manages the entire process of collection, processing, and data destruction of all materials. Our focus is on maximizing reuse and achieving maximum CO2 savings for ING.

3. Reporting

Out of Use provides extensive reporting, including reports on CO2 emissions and the data destruction process.

4. Employee cafeteria plan

All ING employees have the opportunity to purchase refurbished devices for private use through the sustainable webshop Back in Use. Out of Use guarantees customer service and offers a warranty on all purchased products.
